Maulana Wasim Malik is a dedicated Imam and Teacher who leads our community with wisdom and compassion. His deep understanding of religious texts and his ability to teach and inspire individuals of all ages make him an invaluable member of our team.
Maulana Wasim Malik, the youngest Imam of Masjid Al Mustafa in New Zealand, has a deep connection with Islam and studied Islamic Theology in England. He has served as an Imam and Islamic teacher across Europe.
Currently, he dedicates his time to teaching the Quran and basic Islamic knowledge to both children and adults. Understanding the importance of a well-rounded education, he also organizes camps for kids to engage in co-curricular activities.
As a key trustee of the Al-Falah Educational Trust, Maulana Wasim plays a crucial role in developing the Masjid and education center in South Auckland. His humble and knowledgeable personality continues to attract people to Islam, and he actively participates in religious activities.
